Passthrough Clearance is something to be considered when planning to order your door. The depth of the door you choose greatly affects the passthrough clearance. We have created a chart for an in-swing and an out-swing door that show passthrough clearance, adjacent wall offset, and bookcase depths. Tip: Removing the top hinge pin on a bookcase door will allow you to remove the bookcase from the opening creating more space for pass-through.

Note: "B" the depth of a bookcase doors is measure on the outside of the bookcase. Finish Inside depth is determined from the type of bookcase backing you choose.
