Mechanical Latch Install (In-swing)

A mechanical latch is supplied with every bookcase door. They are not installed at the facility

because the doors need to be installed and adjusted in their openings first. The mechanical latch supports the weight and holds the door in the closed position when the door is not in use, therefore, do not skip installing the mechanical latch.
